Biological Activity:

Selective TGF-β type 1 receptor and ALK5 autophosphorylation inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 4 nM for ALK5). Selective for ALK5 over a range of other kinases, including p38 MAPK, JNK1 and GSK3. Replaces Sox2 for reprogramming iPSCs. Active in vitroand in vivo. Cell-permeable.
